A’moore Coffee House- Bourton-on-the-water
Described as a ‘hidden gem’ by many, this quaint little coffee house/café steps away from the main hustle and bustle of Bourton-on-the-water’s high street. As soon as you step through the doors, you're enveloped by an inviting warmth and charm that can only be found here. The interior is impeccably decorated to reflect the local area's rustic style, with natural wood elements and cosy seating areas throughout. There's even a fireplace located at the back of the cafe which provides the perfect spot for settling down with a cup of hot coffee or tea after exploring this picturesque village.
Bourton-on-the-water itself is a very traditionally romantic English village- straddling the river Windrush and popular among tourists and locals alike, this little spot is great to visit after a long day exploring, or to capture some of the true authenticity of the Cotswold countryside. The Old Mill – Chipping Norton
The Old Mill Coffee House is a beloved icon in Chipping Norton. Situated along the River Windrush, the coffee house has been in operation since 1841 and has served as a gathering spot for locals ever since. The original building was constructed using stones from the surrounding hillsides, giving it an historic charm that can still be felt today.
The interior of the Old Mill Coffee House features old-fashioned decor with classic wooden furniture and fixtures that have been carefully preserved over time. It also boasts two fireplaces – one for winter gatherings and another for summertime relaxing. The location of this quaint coffee spot is undisturbed by modern life and offers fantastic routes to work up an appetite with, including the Salford to Rollright stones Circular trail! This is approximately a 2h 26 min walk – definitely enough to require some well-earned refreshments, and you’ll be transported back in time with snippets of the neolithic and Bronze Age.
