Elegant Chipping Campden - ‘the most beautiful village street now left on the island’
Honey pot is our beautifully refurbished Cotswold stone ground floor apartment complete with fully equipped open plan kitchen/lounge, smart TV, a delightful private patio garden and guest parking for one car. The cottage is just off Chipping Campden high street with its elegant terraced buildings, dating from the 14th century to the 17th century. The cosy ground floor bedroom provides a place of sanctuary with its 500+ thread-count cotton bed linen, double bed with super comfortable Hypnos mattress and wall-mounted Smart TV. The bathroom hosts a brand new rain shower complete with Egyptian cotton towels.

The delightful cosy open plan living/dining/kitchen space has every appliance you should need as well as a wall-mounted Smart TV. Appliances include a dishwasher, 4-ring ceramic hob, oven, fridge with freezer box and microwave.
The front door off the hall leads to the charming, private patio garden to the front of the property with a relaxing all weather bistro table and chairs for outdoor dining and a read of the morning papers.
There are lovely walks from the Honey Pot and cycles can be hired nearby.
The centre of the village is a minutes walk away where you can enjoy a vast choice independent shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants. Walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep and a map is provided for guests.
There are various attractions in the village, including St James Church (one of England’s finest Wool Churches) featuring a magnificent 120ft tower and a very spacious interior.
Chipping Campden is conveniently located in the north Cotswolds, meaning you can enjoy the delights of this charming old wool merchant’s town, but also the nearby surrounding shire counties of Oxfordshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire. From Blenheim palace and the Cotswolds to the south, to Worcester and the Malvern’s to the west plus Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick.
Other nearby towns and villages that are a worth a visit include Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh (with its regular Tuesday market), Broadway, Burford and Bourton-on-the-water. Slightly further afield is the regency spa town of Cheltenham, with the famous Cheltenham Racecourse, and Shakepeares’s Stratford-upon-Avon. There are many delightful national Trust and other properties to explore including Snowshill and Sudely Castle.
In order for guests to relax on their last morning, Honey Pot has a later check-out than many other similar properties of 11.00am (10.00am until COVID-19 is beaten). It is the perfect choice for a relaxing stay, in one of the most historical and attractive villages of the Cotswolds.
